The Vertex Group Welcomes RITEC Enterprises in Latest Merger
Rochester, NY – RITEC Enterprises is delighted to announce their merger as an operating company within The Vertex Group, the parent company of Gilson Engineering, FLW Southeast and Jasper Engineering. Headquartered in Rochester, NY, RITEC is the 5th firm to join the group of companies. This strategic alliance positions all four distinguished firms as sister businesses under the umbrella of The Vertex Group, formerly known as Jasper Holdco. This transformative merger consolidates the strengths of these leading manufacturer’s representatives and distributors, enhancing their formidable presence across 30 states covering the entire East Coast, and Midwest regions of the U.S.
Matt Gallagher, CEO of Vertex Group, expressed enthusiasm about the merger, stating, “RITEC is an excellent fit within our growing platform in terms of culture, geography, technology, and service capabilities. RITEC was founded in 1973 by Norm Poisson, as a manufacturer’s representative for instrumentation, valves and gas analyzers. Over time, they have grown into a premiere manufacturing rep/distributor for Process Instrumentation, Industrial Communications and Wireless (IIOT), Gas Analytics, and Valves. John Poisson, Norm’s son, joined the business in 1994 and took over as President in 2013. RITEC operates under “RITEC Enterprises” and within two Joint Venture practices (RITEC Environmental and RITEC PEMCO). With a team of 19 employees serving multiple states in the New England region, RITEC will continue to operate under its established brand name and maintain its headquarters in Rochester, NY. John Poisson and the rest of the RITEC team will remain in their roles focused on continuing the growth and success that they’ve built over the years.
